Himeji, Japan- Mr. Ghulam Asghar Kanasro, Project Director of SFERP; Dr. Abid Shaikh, DG of SERS 1122; and Ms. Sana Siddique, Gender Specialist of SFERP, along with the World Bank Pakistan team, Ms. Nihan Rafique and Ms. Yoko Okura, showcased a story of the Government of Sindh transforming disaster response: The impact of Rescue-1122 at the Sindh in the Understanding Risk Global Forum 2024 at Himeji, Japan. It was a tremendous opportunity to share this success with the many countries that participated in this event.
